Welcome to “Waking Hours”. This is a note that I, Calvin, wanted to share with you, my IO group, some of the things that brought a smile to my face, gave me motivation to make the most of today, and brought hope to my eyes I hope you enjoy. These will come every Monday and Thursday Morning.

A new podcast I LOVE.

If it’s not clear, I am a big podcast guy. I found this one over the past week made by Tega, a member of The Living Room that I go to! Through shedding the layers and getting real, she seeks to find out what it means to follow Jesus. This one is definitely worth the listen. I know the name might be off putting but TRUST me there is so much good stuff in here, listen to Naked + Unashamed.

Three songs to start your morning.

Now hear me out. You just woke up, either by natural means or an alarm blaring in your ear. You’re up now. BEFORE you launch Instagram, check your email, or see what’s new in Fortnite —listen to at least one of these songs. Start your day worshiping the One who sustained you with air in your lungs and a beating heart through the night.
